For this edition of Juli Plastic, the curves of the shell have undergone a slight restyling that maintains all of the original sculptural plasticity, but also provides additional comfort.

The GAX X Dining Table by Artless is similar to the GAX tables in that it has a 2 inch slab of solid walnut set atop a 2 inch tubular base. The distinctive “X” on the floor gives the table a more organic feel while maintaining the profoundly simple design elements. The solid walnut top is virtually indestructible with a hand rubbed oil finish giving it a matte luster that in tolerant of hot or cold objects and resists water marks. The base is made of marine grade stainless steel that is hand polished to a mirror finish.

The Gubi Chair, designed by Komplot Design, was the first furniture design to be based on the innovative technique of molding three-dimensional veneer. The 3D design gives the chair comfort and a sense of lightness – with all edges pointing away from the user. The thickness of the veneer is reduced to half of that normally used due to the very strong 3D design. The Gubi Chair is included in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection. Comes in black lacquered base only.

By offering it in just one model version/one SKU/one color, it enables us offer it to you at a more accessible price point and faster lead times to go after the mid-market seating price points that Humanscale does not currently participate. Arkitecture Kvt7 Chair

One of Has J. Wegner’s most groundbreaking designs, the CH07 Shell Chair was originally designed in 1963. The extended wings of the deeply curved seat are complemented by the contour of the backrest to create a relaxing recline that, when paired with the agility of the three arched legs give the Shell Chair a light, floating nature and energetic presence. The backrest and seat are cushioned and upholstered in form-pressed veneer for added comfort.
