Each lumbar is made by a group of talented women in Nagaland, India, who’ve perfected the art of backstrap weaving over centuries. Handwoven from incredibly soft cotton, this pillow takes over a full day to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment.

This piece was designed for The Citizenry by Austin-based designer, Corie Humble. Each piece of brass is cut by master artisans in Santiago, Chile, and then sent to Austin where the time-intensive patina process is completed by Corie’s studio.
