His goal was to produce quality inexpensive furniture that was made from materials that were readily available in 1940's Finland; one result is the Domus Chair. The chair was given clean simple lines that spoke to style and functionality. The Domus Chair is a multipurpose chair that is perfect as a standalone chair, in a grouping or around a dinner table.
The frame is made of laminated oak and the seat and back take their form from pressed oak plywood. The chair frame is finished with a clear lacquer and the seat and/or back is upholstered. The Domus Chair is stackable up to three high.

The combination of sheets of wood, paper and resins pressed together under high pressure achieves a laminate that appears almost entirely flat, which discreetly lights up spaces with indirect light.

The Ginger collection has been expanded over time to provide solutions to different lighting needs, and is available in pendant, table, wall, and floor lamp versions. This year, we are adding a new, smaller pendant lamp, a portable table lamp, another version of wall lamp with a movable arm, and three different sizes of flush-mount wall lamps.
